Our Media Room Here you can find the story behind MyMediaRoom. It all began in early 2006 with the creation of the MyMediaRoom platform. Tired of the hassle of putting press releases on their company's (Cavendo) web site, Jonathan Arehart and Chris LeCompte set out to make it easer. The result... well, you're looking at it! Through months of hard work, MyMediaRoom blossomed into a full-blown service. Management bios, press contacts, press kits, and even a blog became standard features. As a web development and consulting firm, Cavendo started implementing the media room regularly for its clients. After that, we started receiving feedback from clients that helped us roll out MyMediaRoom version 2.0 in October. Along the way we always felt something was missing. Sure, a media room is a great way to tell your story. But how? And where? We needed that missing piece, a way for people to tell their story, and for others to hear their story.
